we are producing foals with the bloodlines, mental attitude,
and physical talent to perform in reining, cow horse, or cutting
events.
Smiley Starlight is an own son of NRHA Million-Dollar Sire,
Grays Starlight and out of cutting earner and producer,
Shortys Playgirl (by Shorty Lena). This stallion is phenomenally bred.
Smiley's performance in the show pen is proven and his career as a sire is just beginning.
His foals are muscular and athletic with beautiful heads, necks and hips, excellent conformation, and friendly, laid-back personalities.
Smiley Starlight is quiet, easy going and great-minded. The video below is his co-Championship run at

Smiley Starlight began his competitive career as a 5-year-old in 2006 (He was not shown until age 5 due to injury.) He achieved his Open Superior in Reining in less than 15 shows. Smiley has 81 points in AQHA Open Reining and over $5,700 NRHA earnings.
Smiley's foals are eligible for the AQHA Incentive Fund (and other programs) and may be registered foundation
with FQHR as Smiley has 93.75% foundation blood.
We are not standing Smiley to outside mares in 2012 (unless you are interested in pasture breeding at our ranch).
